I sleep during the day. I’m awake all night. But I’m not crazy. At least, I don’t think I am.
Since January 2009, I have been a full-time intercessory missionary at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri, where night and day worship and intercession have been sustained for over 10 years.
I serve during the Nightwatch in the Global Prayer Room from midnight to 6 am. And believe it or not, there are nearly 300 other people who serve with me. We worship our God Who sits enthroned in the highest heavens yet dwells with the lowly in heart. We intercede for His purposes to be manifest on the earth. It is an honor to stand by night in the house of the Lord to “behold and bless” His Name (Psalm 134).
I really enjoy the little things in life.
